Ethereum Foundation announces the next location of the annual Ethereum developer’s conference.
Ethereum community manager Hudson Jameson[1] has posted an announcement[2] regarding the fourth iteration of Devcon[3], the Ethereum developer's conference. This year's annual convergence of ecosystem participants, enthusiasts, and builders will be held in Prague, Czech Republic, from October 30 through November 2, 2018. The post coincided with an official announcement by Aya Miyaguchi, the foundation's executive director, at Ethereal Summit, which kicked off this morning.
Jameson explained the beginnings of the yearly event:
"The first iteration of this conference took place in 2014 as a classroom-sized gathering in Berlin called Devcon0. There, the first visions of what Ethereum would come to be were presented to core developers and founding team members."
Last year's Devcon[4], in Cancun[5], saw an attendance of about 2000, but this year promises to be much bigger.
Signing off with a nod to "dc⟠ıv," Jameson directed the community's attention to the upcoming event's website, devcon.ethereum.org[6].
