Good Ribbit Productions, founded by an award-winning creative team who used to work for Disney, Lucasfilm, and Sony, will open land sales to members of the Notorious Frogs NFT collection and NewPangea, the associated metaverse, on June 18, Invezz learned from a press release.
One-of-a-kind amphibian NFTs populate the Web3 company’s metaverse. They feature individual RPG statistics to deliver an authentic experience.
Current NFT holders will get a free land deed to celebrate the project’s next milestone. It will be placed in Frogland, the main district of the NewPangea metaverse, with the option to relocate.
Scaling with the community
Sales proceeds from the original NFT collection will enable the scaling of the project with the community. Most metaverses differ in that they rely on VC funding. This strategy gives Frogland the full advantage of advanced Web3 technologies to power innovation in the virtual universe.
Strong focus on creativity and organic growth
Frogland is a community created by users from scratch, placing a strong focus on creativity and organic growth. Members were inspired to play roles within the Frogland metaverse. They organized themselves into groups with shared goals since the project’s launch. They build decentralized organizational structures that promote content additions and gameplay.
Upcoming Web3 tracks from Scott Page and Dumma Boy
Other upcoming events include the creation of new Web3 tracks from Pink Floyd’s Scott Page and Dumma Boy, a two-time Grammy award-winning producer. Good Ribbit is working on a podcast to be aired through a music studio in their metaverse. The objective is to discover new artists and collect royalties.
Another project involves environmentally-focused NFTs using the platform’s gameplay and integration to promote the protection of forests and woodlands.
